Description

What does exploring new layers of your personality mean to you as an actor, and how do you feel while exploring?
How can embodying elements like “rock,” “paper,” or “scissors” help you connect with your emotions or current state?
What qualities do you feel most connected to right now, and how might exploring these qualities influence your creativity?

In this two-hour Dramatherapy workshop, actors will be invited to explore deeper layers of their emotional and creative selves. The session will draw on the classic game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, designed to introduce the themes of choice, adaptability, and response. From this playful starting point, participants will be invited to improvise with the symbolic elements of “rock,” “paper,” and “scissors,” using their bodies, movements, and imagination to embody these elements in the way they like and as much as they like.

Embodying an element will be a key focus, encouraging participants to immerse themselves in its qualities -whatever these are. Through this process, actors will be prompted to reflect on why they chose a particular element and what it reveals about their current emotions, needs, or inner dynamics.

By embodying and searching for the essence of these elements, participants will engage with their creativity in a profound yet not therapeutic way (since it’s a one-off workshop), unlocking new possibilities for self-expression and artistic growth.
