In this experiential workshop, participants will enter a creative journey through puppet making, storytelling, and Dramatherapy. Using simple materials, imagination, and play, we will create handmade puppets that can become expressive companions, symbolic figures, or hidden parts of ourselves.

Together we will:

* construct our own unique puppets,
* discover and develop their voices,
* explore movement, personality, and relationships,
* and finally create short improvised performances and small theatrical scenes.

Through the process of animation and performance, we will gently explore the needs that are emerging in our lives during this period, as well as the different roles we are currently negotiating in our personal, social, and professional worlds. The puppet can become a safe and creative medium through which thoughts, emotions, and inner conflicts can be expressed with freedom and curiosity.

The workshops are experiential and include both individual and group exploration.
They take place as part of Movefest, in collaboration with the Tribes community.

Facilitators

The Flying Turtle Project is a creative, therapeutic, and exploratory community rooted in Dramatherapy, play, embodiment, and the beauty of trying things out.

A space for those who love to move, explore and dream.

The Flying Turtle Project is a community Project founded by Vasiliki Moka and Emiliana Tsoukala, two Dramatherapists with a shared vision: to create a mobile space for expression, therapy, and community.
Our cooperative aims to promote mental and physical well-being through Dramatherapeutic techniques that combine art, movement, and psychotherapy.
We seek to promote personal growth, creative expression, and social inclusion, placing special emphasis on accessibility in mental health for all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic background.

Community at the Core
Community is the heart of our work.
It’s the reason we move, create, and share.
We want to bring Dramatherapy and embodied expression closer to people of different ages and backgrounds through mobile workshops, experiential seminars, and artistic actions.
Through these, we aim to nurture empathy, collectivity, and the joy of participation.
