Description

In this workshop, we will observe and explore how we welcome our students in reception classes for migrant populations.

More specifically, through the tools and techniques of Dramatherapy, we will work on how we can approach our students by taking into account their individual or multiple transitions and providing them with as safe an environment as possible. We will discuss how symbolic distance can allow the educator to respectfully address the present needs of the children while considering their socio-cultural realities.

This workshop is closed and exclusively for teachers in ZEP (Reception Classes for Refugee Education). It will be experiential, and we will engage in both individual and group activities.
