Description

In the “How Do I Relate?” seminar, we will explore the way we relate during this phase of our lives.

Using the tools of Cinema and Theatre as psychotherapeutic mediums, we will take on roles, activate our bodies, improvise, and tune in to our needs.

The material for the seminar is inspired by the film In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-Wai and will have an experiential character.

We will experiment both individually and in groups.

Facilitators

Vasiliki is a Social Scientist and a final-year Drama Therapist who enjoys expressing herself through art. She loves inviting adults to explore their emotions through physical expression and activities such as role-playing, improvisations, script writing, etc.

Evika is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a final-year Drama Therapist at the Athyrma Institute. She has worked psycho-pedagogically and has recently begun conducting sessions with adults, based on the theories and techniques of Drama Therapy.

Vasiliki and Evika are close friends and together they created the Cinedramatic method. By combining Drama Therapy techniques with the cinematic conditions of Film, they invite individuals to approach and process, in a different way, the needs and desires they are experiencing in their daily lives.
